What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool to help reprogram your thoughts, and release emotions empowering you to make the changes you want to make and be the person you choose to be, through the power of positive suggestion.

Hypnotherapy or hypnosis is facilitating a very relaxed state of mind, for the purpose of accessing and communicating with our powerful subconscious,, to make positive changes in thoughts, behaviours and habits, that may not be serving us well, using the power of the imagination and suggestion, NLP* techniques and cognitive** therapies and reprogramming these thought patterns, to better serve you.

This process can be through ‘self Hypnosis’ or aided by your Hypnotherapist.

I will use many skills to help and support you, in a professional and understanding way.

You are totally in control of the process and any changes or suggestions will only be accepted by you, if you truly want the change to happen.

Any suggestion that does not sit comfortably with you will be rejected.

You are the expert on You and a client centered approach means the sessions are lead by what suits you the best, we explore what will work for you, as we are all unique and have different experiences and perspectives, which is what has brought you to where you are right now.

Part of the process is your decision and commitment to the changes you want to make.

The great thing about Hypnotherapy is that it can be used to help with so many different issues, thoughts, behaviours and habits, from anxieties, fears and phobias to public speaking, sports performance, insomnia, low confidence, nail biting, self sabotage, smoking cessation and weight control, to name but a few.

Great long term changes can happen with only a few sessions.
